Just wanted to say a HUGE "thank you" for sending all the help to us in Georgia recovering from the ice storm last week. I'm one of the ones still waiting on power to be restored, but saw a line of your trucks headed into my area this morning, and have seen them all over the CSRA area over the past week. I know they, and all the other companies in our areas, have been working so hard in extremely difficult situations here (including some folks being extremely cantankerous with them), but you are all appreciated more than you know. God bless!!

Thank you to the heroes of Atlanta Pike Line crew that restored power after the catastrophic Ice storm here. Words can hardly describe fear during an ice storm listening to the loud crash of falling pines around your home. Then, hearing the zaps, seeing the blue flashes of lights in the sky when all went dark. Our city's outages were widespread. Pike Power Line men traveled over 2 hours, leaving the warmth of their own homes to unselfishly rescue others with their presence, reassurance and electrical expertise during a very scary dark time. When your trucks arrived on Sunday night, it was a very welcomed and comforting sight! Your angels were incredibly brave to work after sunset in the cold, down a dark dirt road full of broken pines all over the power lines and road among other dangers. I wanted to remain with them to thank them the entire time but they had work to do and didn't need anyone in their way. So I briefly hand delivered five Pizza Hut pizzas and drinks as a small thank you. Only wished it could have been more to make their time away from home more pleasant. I didn't get any of their names but somehow I hope they know what miracles they provided that night. A very sincere and most grateful THANK YOU and hugs to your brave men of the power lines - Pike's heroic angels. NEVER ever forget them. They are incredibly kind, reassuring and sweet people.

I live outside of Harlem, Georgia which is near Augusta. Recently people from Pike came to Georgia to help restore power to the many people in our area who lost power during the recent storm. I wish I could thank everyone of the men who helped to restore power to our area. They worked long, hard hours to make sure we were taken care of. Although I do not know their names or who they are, I would like to personnally thank everyone of these men. They are certainly my heroes. Without their hard work, we would still be in the dark and very cold. Thank you.

Harlem, Georgia

I Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the help your company gave us in Jones County after the ice storm in getting the transmission lines back up. As a firefighter I know the dedication it takes to work long hours during these types of storms to keep the roads clear. After our job is over your crews job begins. After 4 days of being in the dark seeing your company trucks at the end of the road was a blessing. I know your crews worked long hours helping us and believe me it was very appreciated. To whom it may concern, I am just one of the many victims of winter storm "Pax" here in Aiken Co. S.C. I was without electricity from Wednesday night, (Feb 12th - Sunday morning Feb. 16th). Around 10:30 AM several of your employees rolled into my neighborhood & within an hour had the electricity restored again. I took the time to personally tell them how glad I was to see them, & was delighted by their friendliness, & commitment to restore the electricity not only for me, but for my entire neighborhood. I regret that I did not get their names as I feel these men should be commended for their tireless service to all the people of this area. I just want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Pike Electric Co. for coming out & aiding in this devastating ice storm which affected thousands, & helping to restore our power.

Graniteville, South Carolina

February 16, 2014

I live in Columbia County Georgia, metro Augusta, GA. We were without power for 36 hours and would have been without for longer had it not been for the unselfishness and long hours of the Pike crews seen in and around Columbia County. Again thank you for sending these brave individuals to assist us in our time of need.

Evans, Georgia

February 16, 2014

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your crews working so hard to get power restored to the Augusta, GA and Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) that was hit hard from the ice storm PAX. We sheltered in place since we had heat, a new puppy and grown dog. We were one of the lucky ones and only went without power for about 24 hours. With a diabetic husband on insulin, the power being out meant insulin possibly not being good if it was not cold. This was our biggest concern. Thanks to your crews and all the others working hard to restore power, we were OK. Many, many thanks!

Grovetown, Georgia

February 15, 2014

I just want to take a moment to thank the crew and your company for the long hours they put in so far from home helping out to restore power to our little community of Colston in Bamberg County. I spoke to 2 of them as we were waiting and they were so pleasant even tho I knew they had to be worn out. God bless them and your company!

Ehrhardt, South Carolina

February 15, 2014

We can not begin to thank you for your help during our recent ice storm. Your crew worked on all of the tangled lines and broken power poles on our road all day! We rode the area several times today just to get out of the house an every time they were still there moving up the line making progress. After almost 4 days without power at 8:15...WE HAVE LIGHT!!! Our family was so excited just to see them in our area we made a poster that said THANK YOU PIKE ELECTRIC!! When it was almost dark we were afraid they would not see us standing on the side of the road and so we took it to them. Our family of five (Pagie age 7, Landon age 7, Corey age 15, my husband Steven, and myself) will never forget this year and the part your crew played in helping us. We did not get the names of your crew, but when they finally were able to "flip the switch" and rode by we were all jumping up and down outside. They blew the horns and we all cheered as they went by. It takes special people to work in these conditions and also to be so far from home. We hope they all make it back home safe!!! We wish their was some way to repay them for their work...not to mention how nice they were when we stopped to give them the poster we made. AhGod Bless them, their families, and Pike Electric!

Ehrhardt, South Carolina

February 09, 2014

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to the electric crews that were working in the Century, FL area the night of January 30th. We were traveling to Pensacola and spent a horrible 2 days driving through the ice storm. When we reached Century, FL, we had to take a detour to avoid a closed road. Unfortunately, the detour was just as icy. We slid off the road (Vehicle and trailer) and were hopelessly stuck. Several Pike trucks came through the area. Even though they had had a very long day and still had to travel to Pensacola, they took the time to figure out how to get us out of our predicament. It took about an hour and we were so grateful for their assistance! I don't know what we would have done without their help!!

Cookeville, Tennessee

February 09, 2014

I just want to thank Pike Electric. I live in Morrilton, AR but was passing through Conway, AR and see all the trucks parked there that had come all the way from North Carolina to help us get power restored to our state. It was such an overwhelming feeling to pull in the parking lot and see all the ones that had given up the comfort of their homes and families to come help out people they don't know and probably never will know. I felt swollen with pride over the humanity and caring I seen that all the trucks in that lot represented...and of course the company for giving up their employees to help others. Thank You just doesn't suffice. I never was without power during this storm, but I for one still appreciate everything. It could have been me waiting on those trucks.

Morrilton, Arkansas

Hi! I don't know if it's possible to get a message to the branch of pike out of Kentucky? As I sit here looking at the 20 inches of snow we have accumulated in the last 24 hours, as well as the wind chill in the negatives, I'm reminded how much I wanted to say "thankyoy sooooo much!" For coming up, away from your families at Christmas, to restore our power so we could enjoy ours! We didn't have electric on Xmas, however, they did come and work on power to our sub twice and got it up! I hope everyone got back home safe, sound and healthy! Thanks!

I'm writing to let you know how much I appreciate the men and women you have working at your company. I live in Michigan, which was recently hit with one of the worst ice storms we've ever seen. Tens of thousands without power, for days on end. Freezing temperatures, Christmas in the dark. Misery for so many. Today on my way home, I drove behind three big trucks with NC plates. The name on the side said Pike. These dear workers gave up their own families and Christmases, and drove so far from home, just to help restore power for complete strangers. I don't know when your employees will be able to return home to their families, but when they do, I need you to make sure to let them know just how much the residents of Michigan appreciate what they have given to us. My husband and I were blessed to retain our power, but so many of our friends and relatives did. We are hearing about more and more of them having power restored, and thank God for it. We are are filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude to your employees and the work they do. Thank you so very much, and may God bless you in the coming year!

Michigan was recently hit with a terrible ice storm. Over 200,000 people across the state were without power. I unfortunately was one of those people. Thanks to the numerous PIKE crews that came in from out of state we only went about 3-1/2 days w/o power. It was restored yesterday (Christmas Day) 3 days earlier than what Consumers Energy was telling us. THANK YOU to all the men and women who sacrificed spending time with their families during the Holidays to drive up here to help us out! Thanks to you and your crews many many people in Michigan are now sleeping warmly in their beds! Thanks Again!!!!

I would just like to thank the Pike workers that left their families on Christmas to come to Michigan so that my family could have power and heat again. My husband and I are so very grateful, as are my three children, 5,3, and 6 months. My husband speed and spoke with one of the workers this morning and he was so friendly. My husband thanked him but I felt that the company should know that they are being represented well, even out of state on a holiday. Thank you again to you and your workers! ~Crystal, Justin, Savannah, Scarlett, and Stella Barnes Holly, MI

As I was traveling from Cinti., Oh to Wolcottville, IN on this day, I passed a convoy of your fleet heading north on I-69. Not sure where they were headed, but knew it was to assist. But what came to focus is that with today being December 23, these individuals were giving up their Christmas with family to assist others. Thank you, and them, for their sacrifices. May God watch over them in their work and travels.
